Welcome to "Encyclical Encyclopedia." At the risk of sounding pretentious or inflated, I should probably clarify that this is not (yet) and exhaustive list of papal encyclicals.
Papal encyclicals can be long. However, they are some of our best canons (rods, measuring sticks) into the continuity of Catholic Tradition from the past 2000 years and counting.
My goal is to paste into various posts encyclicals which I have finished reading and have highlighted key parts.
This will serve as a personal reference guide (for me) while also hopefully exposing others to the full Catholic Tradition, something which has been regrettably masked in the more recent history of the Church.Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth.
